A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As Wear Resistant Coating (WRC) Application Manager at MKS MSD you will partner with Global Team- WRC and various departments in new product qualification / introduction, sample plating, troubleshooting and associated activities. In this role, you will report to the Function head General Metal Finishing. The WRC Application Manager will be responsible for productivity, leading application team to achieve departmental goals and objectives. You will be working closely with colleagues from your own team, Function head, Global application manager, business manager, R&D and other cross-functional departments. An open and clear communication with all stakeholders is expected. You are expected to be creative, bring new ideas and approaches to assign the tasks and complete the duties successfully. When required, you will also act as a support to customer through consultation, trouble shooting, process optimization, site visits and on-site troubleshooting, maintaining the confidentiality and compliance of the department and the company.

Skills You Bring:
- B.Tech or M.Tech Chemical engineering degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge in electroplating
- Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking and collaboration skills.
- People management & development skill
- Lab & pilot line management
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Self-starter with ability to work cross functionally, multi-task, organize / prioritize work effectively to meet Team goals
- Conflict resolution and negotiation
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, converting technical opportunities to business.
- Knowledge in SAP & Project Management.
- In depth understanding and hands on experience of Electroplating processes, techniques and equipment (electroless / electrolytic Ni and Cr), jig designing, tank designing etc.
- Knowledge on various tests and international testing standards.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and understand coating requirements.
