Overview: The requirements and responsibilities for the Training Manager role, emphasizing governance, domain expertise in banking (especially UK mortgage), communication skills, and the management of six trainers from Pune.
Role & responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify skill gaps across BFS processes (e.g., lending, underwriting, KYC, AML, collections).
- Collaborate with business leaders and SMEs to align training objectives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop structured training programs for BFS domain processes, compliance, and soft skills.
- Create blended learning solutions (classroom, virtual, e-learning) tailored to diverse learner profiles.
- Coordinate, govern and deliver onboarding, process training, and domain academies for new hires and existing staff.
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and certify internal trainers for BFS programs.
- Ensure all training programs meet BFS compliance norms and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation for regulatory reporting.
- Regularly update SOPs and training materials to reflect process changes and client requirements.
- Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and KPIs (e.g., OJT success rates, SLA adherence).
- Analyze dashboards and performance reports to identify improvement areas and initiate corrective actions.
- Act as a liaison between training teams, operations, and clients to ensure alignment on training goals.
- Participate in client-led feedback meetings and share updates with internal teams.
- Support BFS transitions by creating domain-specific training roadmaps for new projects.
- Manage a team of trainers and allocate resources for BFS engagements.
- Drive capability-building initiatives like leadership programs and domain academies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the BFS vertical.
