Manager Traded Risk Stress Testing

As a Manager Traded Risk Stress Testing at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation for regulatory exercises, overseeing the production of stress results, and generating reports to analyze risks before submission to regulators. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the WMR stress testing teams in managing and delivering responses to regulatory queries post enterprise-wide stress exercises. - Acting as the main point of contact for stress testing queries from local regions, other HQ teams, and regulators. - Engaging and reporting to GHQ sites, ensuring effective communication and coordination. - Being a subject matter expert on Stress Testing, meeting high standards for delivery to senior management and regulators. - Managing and monitoring stress testing scenarios for Market risk and Counterparty credit risk. - Evaluating risk factors from a global economic perspective. - Supporting Regulatory stress testing teams in updating systems, EUCs, and implementing changes as per requirements. - Analyzing financial risk products and movements, and reporting risk calculations to Risk Managers, Senior Management, and Regulators. - Managing market data and generating risk model parameters such as VaR, PFE, EEPE efficiently. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Pro-active and self-starter with excellent communication skills. - Proficiency in VBA-Excel, VBA-MS Access & PPT, with good knowledge of SQL, Python, and Tableau. - Strong understanding of financial products in the market, with experience in Bloomberg & Reuters terminals. - Familiarity with market risk and counterparty risk concepts, as well as experience in Risk Reporting. - Previous stress testing experience is preferable, along with project management skills and knowledge in agile methodology. - 4-7 years of experience in financial services industry. - Masters in Finance/Econometrics/Quants or MBA from a reputed B-school. - CFA/FRM/PRM certification will be a plus.
