Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations. This role involves strategic planning, tax reporting, and providing guidance on tax-related matters to optimize tax liabilities.

Income tax

In-depth understanding of Indian Income tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities and support business objectives.
Computation of monthly TDS/ withholding Tax liabilities.

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

Working knowledge of GST provision including reverse charge mechanism, IMS, E-invoicing etc.
Reconciliation of GST Input Tax credits with GSTR 2A/2B and following up with vendors for corrections, if any required.
GST Documentation: Maintain, organized and keep up-to-date records of GST transaction, Invoices, and related documents.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience

Chartered Accountant with 7-9 years of working experience in Corporate Tax function
Practical experience of working in Income Tax and GST

Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication
Team player, excellent collaboration skills
Proactive and self-motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, working experience in SAP / Oracle Financials or any other ERP.

Kindly note: shift timings are UK shift(1 pm to 10 pm-Hybrid work mode
