Manager - Substation Design

The Manager- Substation Design (Power Evacuation) position in Gurugram requires a professional with 8-10 years of experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering. Your role involves various responsibilities including Substation Equipment sizing calculations, finalization of ratings, delivery of primary engineering drawings and documents, coordination with the execution team, and ensuring compliance with ReNew standards and specifications. You will also be involved in Substation Electrical Design using tools like Dialux, supporting pre-bid engineering activities, and exploring new initiatives for PSS cost reduction. As a Manager, you will play a crucial role in equipment standardization, procurement activities, project documentation maintenance, and analyzing deviations from technical specifications. You will be responsible for construction design approval, vendor equipment document approval, and technical closure with equipment manufacturers/suppliers. Additionally, you will manage new initiatives" corrective actions, prototype installation support, risk identification, risk mitigation, and design improvement measures. To be eligible for this role, you should have 5-10 years of experience in Electrical design and engineering, knowledge of primary Sub-Station design, plant & equipment layout, and electrical equipment specifications. Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD software is required for this position. You will be interfacing with various teams including Wind infra- Pooling Sub-Station primary and secondary engineering team, SCM and Execution team for technical support and vendor finalization, as well as the Project development team for pre-engineering and the Site Execution team for construction design finalization.,
