Manager / Sr. Manager Manufacturing Operations

Role Overview: Autocontrol Process Instrumentation Pvt. Ltd. specializes in the manufacturing of Sensing and Measuring Instruments, Control Equipment, Automation Systems, and related Accessories. As the Manager/Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall manufacturing operations. Your key focus will be on order execution, team leadership, cross-functional coordination, and dynamic production management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage production and resource planning for a Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing setup. - Identify capacity constraints, assess bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to reduce supply risks. - Provide order book visibility and proactively manage potential supply challenges. - Optimize production plans to handle product variability, minimize changeovers, and improve productivity. - Monitor and ensure compliance with production schedules in coordination with plant operations. - Support capacity planning with relevant data to forecast mold, tool, and machinery requirements. - Maintain safety stock and inventory levels, ensuring alignment between physical and system inventories as per accounting guidelines. - Drive initiatives for Lean Manufacturing, Data Analysis, Industry 4.0 implementation, and continuous problem-solving. - Ensure WIP inventory is maintained at less than 15 days and achieve Order OTD/OTIF above 90%. - Manage factory overhead expenses within the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and control overtime. Qualifications Required: - Technical Expertise: Strong experience in production planning within valve manufacturing, industrial instrumentation, or project-based manufacturing industries preferred. - Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems is a must. - Soft Skills: - Excellent team collaboration and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to build rapport across cross-functional teams and plants.
