Manager - SAP PP

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP PP team in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support of SAP PP functionalities
• Manage end-to-end production planning processes including demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, shop floor control, and production order management
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions aligned with operational goal
• Ensure integration and data synchronization between SAP PP and other modules like SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP QM, and SAP FI
• Oversee SAP PP system support activities including issue resolution, upgrades, patches, and performance optimization
• Develop and maintain SAP PP policies, best practices, and standard operating procedure
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, process automation opportunities, and adopting SAP best practice
• Lead SAP PP-related projects including system implementation, upgrades, rollouts, and testing
• Provide training, guidance, and support to SAP PP users and team member
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning effectiveness, order fulfillment rates, and system utilization
• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering SAP PP configurations, business processes, and process flow
• Manage vendor relationships and work effectively with SAP consultants and third-party provider

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience working with SAP PP module, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead rol2
• Strong knowledge of production planning processes, including MRP, forecasts, capacity planning, and shop floor execution
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP module preferred
• Understanding of integration points between SAP PP and MM, SD, QM, and FI module
• Hands-on experience in SAP PP implementation, support, customization, and upgrade
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and work cross-functionally
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skill
• SAP PP certification is a plus
