We are seeking an Manger to join this exciting opportunity to grow Smart Monitoring COE multi-folds in 2025. As a member of SM COE, the incumbent will be responsible for identifying opportunities to apply new and innovative ways to monitor risks through KRIs and execute appropriate strategies in partnership with Business, OE, Compliance, and other stakeholder teams. Roles & Responsibilities: Work with the next-gen and transformation of control testing and monitoring use automation, define key risk indicators (KRIs), and set thresholds for review or action for different risk types Work in an analytical team providing guidance to design and build comprehensive and complete control testing using the Source of Origin and applying MECE (mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive) approach. Also support data validation and contribute to creation of coding logic to build key risk indicators (KRIs). Partner closely with FLoD product/process owners to fully understand critical business processes, to identify risks and potential points of failure and prioritize automation opportunities. Partner closely with platform and capabilities teams to understand end -to-end data transfer and hand-off risks associated to process fulfillment and delivery of customer promises. Be a trusted advisor for key business stakeholders for matters related to the KRI/Smart Monitoring testing environment across their products and processes. Apply innovative concepts to measure and manage risk consistent with regulatory and governance requirements. Collaborate closely with First Line of Defense (FLoD) to understand business priority and execute against the prioritization roadmap for the testing automation strategy. Identify and escalate to senior leadership observations, high residual-risk areas, and emerging risk themes. Partner with Technology, Risk, Product Management, Compliance, and other key Subject Matter Experts on initiatives to ensure standards/deliverables are achieved. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of work experience in data-driven analytics especially in the financial services industry and risk management. Bachelor s or master s degree in business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering disciplines. Qualitative/quantitative solutioning/problem solving in complex and unstructured environment. Team player with strong communication skills, and ability to develop relationships with colleagues. Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently and handle multiple workstreams and ad-hoc tasks simultaneously. Ability to understand large complex processes and translate technical process jargon into simpler messages suited for all levels of the organization. Experience in technical skills such as Big Data, SQL, Hive, Python and Google Big Query is a plus.
