Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager Research & Development (R&D) to join our team in Bharuch, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in R&D, with a strong background in Organic Chemistry and expertise in HPLC, UPLC, GC, and LCMS.

Roles and Responsibility

Plan, set up, monitor, and work on chemical reactions independently.
Monitor progress using standard methods and analytical techniques such as TLC, GC, HPLC, and LCMS.
Isolate products and optimize reaction conditions for improved yields.
Purify compounds using chromatography, distillation, and crystallization.
Characterize and identify compounds using UV, IR, NMR, LCMS, and GCMS.
Ensure parallel execution of multiple reactions conducted by self and the team.
Scale up R&D developed products to kg scale and then transfer technology to pilot plant.
Troubleshoot issues for successful execution, notifying the supervisor when necessary.

Job Requirements

MSc in Organic Chemistry with a first-class degree.
Minimum 4 years of experience in R&D.
Strong knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, GC, and LCMS.
Experience in research and development within the agrochemical industry.
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
