We are looking for
Manager, Recovery Process & Applications
in Recovery Technology Unit. In Recovery Technology Unit we develop, sell, and deliver recovery boilers, NCG products and burners to pulp customers globally.In this role, you will be responsible for leading Recovery product engineering team. You oversee and empower the team to engineer and develop high-performing products to meet and exceed our customers needs. Your leadership will ensure that engineering efforts are strategically aligned, customer-focused, and capable of delivering long-term value. You are directly managing our Process and Applications department and closely working together with global network of customer applications professionals. You will be part of Recovery TU management team and report to Recovery TU head. Your place of work can be in any of our major locations in Finland, Sweden, or India.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring high quality product engineering in sales and delivery projects within budget and schedule
- Developing customer applications competences
- Allocating resources for sales and delivery projects
- Delegating responsibilities and overseeing the work of experts, providing guidance and motivation to drive performance
- Development of work processes and tools
Requirements
We are seeking a results-driven, customer centric professional with strong background in pulp technology and pulp mill processes. You are openly sharing your perspectives and ideas, while fostering a collaborative and respectful working environment. The ideal candidate takes accountability of their responsibilities and is capable to work independently within their area of expertise. To succeed in this position, the candidate should also meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working within pulp technology and pulp mill processes
- Masters degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience, including previous roles in supervisory or managerial positions
- Proven ability to grasp the big picture, connect the dots across complex systems, and identify key cause-and-effect relationships
- Strong and inspiring networking and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders
- Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering measurable results and continuous improvement
- Fluent English skills, both oral and written
