Job Description

Role & responsibilities Research and development: Designing and developing new algorithms and control strategies for power systems. Studying power system dynamics and stability analysis to improve grid reliability. Investigating advanced grid technologies like FACTS devices, energy storage systems, and microgrids. Exploring methods for integrating large-scale renewable energy sources. Simulation and modeling: Utilizing power system simulation software (PSCAD, PowerFactory, ATP) to test and validate new designs. Developing complex mathematical models of power systems to analyze various scenarios. Prototype development: Building and testing prototypes of new power system components or control systems. Conducting laboratory experiments to evaluate performance and reliability. Technical documentation: Writing technical reports and publications detailing research findings. Preparing presentations to communicate research results to stakeholders. Collaboration: Working with other engineers, researchers, and industry partners to solve complex power system challenges. Collaborating with universities and research institutions to access cutting-edge technologies.
