Manager, Quality Assurance & Engineering

As a Quality Engineering Manager in the Product Development team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation, delivering strategic initiatives, and ensuring the highest quality of deliverables across Beta systems. Your responsibilities will include leading a team, implementing testing methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of continual improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Accountable for the Quality of the deliverables across Beta systems - Drive multiple quality initiatives in coordination with the QE leads and other Development and QE managers - Build the Quality engineering community in India and ensure apt execution of processes and test cases - Implement testing methodologies to enhance the Quality of the Beta deliverables - Collaborate with product and design teams to formulate use cases and testing solutions - Ensure continued functionality of programs during maintenance and testing - Revisit the Quality process to address concerns and fix bugs - Document aspects of systems for future upgrades and maintenance - Lead teams to deliver quality results on schedule - Assess customer needs, influence appropriate courses of action, and identify issues and risks - Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and foster a culture of continual improvement Qualification Required: - 13+ years of total experience in the IT industry - 4+ years of experience managing quality engineering teams, preferably in the financial services industry - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - Experience in IT Quality engineering across waterfall and agile environments - Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, tools, and measurement practices - Strong communication skills at all levels internally and externally - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile technology environment - Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian Jira, Postman, Soap UI, Gitlab Ultimate, Selenium - Experience in managing teams working on API testing and mainframe technologies (Note: The additional details of the company provided in the job description have been omitted as they are not directly related to the job role.),
