Manager, QA Assurance

As a QA Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of cutting-edge features across the Qualys Platform. You will collaborate closely with engineers and architects to design, develop, and maintain a robust automation regression test bed and a scalable QA framework. Your work will directly impact the innovative solutions we deliver to our customers in the fast-evolving cybersecurity space. **Responsibilities:** - Lead the Automation & Manual QA Effort on all the products and features in the group - Install/Test/verify multiple components that comprise a product to certify that it conforms to requirements and is release-ready - Develop and maintain test plans and test cases with complete test coverage - Design and develop automation framework using Java, Nodejs, Python, Cucumber, JMeter, etc. - Execute tests and provide quality test status reports while meeting schedule commitments - Build and develop automated performance benchmarks on all releases across all products - Ability to work independently on tasks and collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals - Build a team of sharp QA automation experts - Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers locally and globally to understand testing requirements **Qualifications:** - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent - 12+ years of work experience with at least 3+ years as a manager in the field of software testing and test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications - Must have built automation framework from the ground up using any one of Java, Python, Selenium automation framework - Demonstrable experience with RESTful API, UI test automation, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines - Good understanding of computer networks and networking concepts - Agile development experience **Nice to Have:** - Big data automation experience - Cassandra, Kafka, ElasticSearch - Experience leading a team handling large data volumes and understanding distributed systems - Worked in a containerized deployment model This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and agile engineering team in our fastest-growing R&D center in Pune, India.
