Role Overview: As a Software Engineering Manager at Wolters Kluwer Compliance Solutions in Pune, India, you will be responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to your teams. You will play a crucial role in driving the product offerings to the next level in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills will be essential in collaborating with different leadership groups throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Hire, train, and lead staff for one or more software engineering teams to develop best-in-class banking platforms. - Manage the performance and daily activities of Software Engineers, including conducting 1 on 1s, performance reviews, and driving personal development. - Collaborate with Product Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture, and Agile teams to promote development best practices and ensure timely delivery. - Work closely with Product Management to meet product delivery requirements. - Drive AI initiatives utilizing tools like Git Hub CoPilot and FAB. - Address technical debt proactively and ensure its resolution. - Promote application security best practices within the development organization in alignment with existing security policies. - Provide production support when needed. Qualifications: - BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field required. Advanced technical degree and/or related training is a plus. - 6+ years of experience in software product development with progressive growth in leadership roles/responsibilities. - 2+ years of experience in management. - Demonstrated ability to lead onshore/offshore developers and collaborate effectively within and across multiple teams. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Data Modeling and Object-Oriented design. Familiarity with Responsive UI Design. - Strong experience with Microsoft stack of Technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, T-SQL, JavaScript (Cloud and Client Server). - Experience using CoPilot or similar AI tools to enhance developer productivity. - Familiarity with Reporting and Analytics Technologies like SSRS/PowerBI or equivalent. - Proficiency in UI Frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery. - Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus. - Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies (SCRUM, Safe Agile). Nice to Have: Some experience in Agentic AI development, Microservice-based architecture, cloud platforms AWS & Azure.
