Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and highly driven Supply Chain Manager for our Private Brands in Personal Care & Makeup at Purplle.com. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless product availability across all channels Online, Offline, and Purplle Exclusive Stores. This role demands strong supply chain expertise, excellent analytical skills, and exceptional stakeholder management abilities to collaborate with multiple business heads and ensure efficient demand planning, inventory management, and stock optimization in the beauty & personal care space.Key Responsibilities
- Stock & Availability Management
- Ensure consistent stock availability across all channels Online, Offline & Purplle Stores.
- Monitor and improve SWISS (Sales Weighted In Stock) and OSA (On-Shelf Availability).
- Proactively highlight and resolve supply gaps or stock-out risks.
- Demand Planning & S&OP
- Lead monthly S&OP process with stakeholders to generate accurate demand forecasts.
- Ensure final S&OP estimates are communicated to the Buying & Sourcing team and track execution through follow-ups.
- Inventory Management
- Track and manage inventory health across warehouses & channels.
- Highlight excess/slow-moving stock and drive liquidation after necessary approvals.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with Channel Heads (Online, Offline, Stores) and the Revenue Head to align business and supply priorities.
- Act as the single point of contact for stock-related discussions and escalations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- SWISS (Sales Weighted In Stock) Maintain targets by channel & category.
- On-Shelf Availability (OSA) Ensure OSA ? target across channels.
- Forecast Accuracy Accuracy of demand planning vs. actual sales.
- Inventory Health Reduction in excess & slow-moving stock.
- S&OP Effectiveness Timely, accurate submission & communication to buying team.
- Stakeholder Feedback Satisfaction levels from channel & revenue heads.
Requirements
- Education: MBA in Supply Chain / Operations / Business Management.
- Experience: 24 years in supply chain management (preferably in Personal Care, Makeup, Beauty, FMCG or Consumer Goods).
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, S&OP, inventory management, and stock allocation.
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel supply chains (online + offline + retail).
- Exceptional stakeholder management & communication skills.
- High analytical capability; proficiency in Excel/Analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
