Manager, Portfolio Strategy Analytics

As an individual contributor at Bristol Myers Squibb, you will be responsible for driving portfolio analytics, portfolio health checks, and long-term portfolio revenue projections for internal pipeline assets. Your role will involve presenting portfolio assessments to senior leadership, identifying potential gaps, building excel-based capabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data and market trends. Additionally, you will provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts, participate in talent planning, and contribute to performance reviews and compensation actions for team members. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct competitor concentration analysis by therapeutic indication and benchmark success rates - Identify gaps in the portfolio, articulate findings for senior leadership, and assist junior members in understanding the broader context - Develop and maintain a leadership dashboard capturing portfolio ranking across key variables - Conduct early asset modeling for long-term financial planning, including scenario analytics - Manage competing priorities, work allocation, and ensure on-time project delivery - Provide oversight and feedback to analysts, participate in talent planning, and year-end reviews - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze relevant data and market trends - Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts and team members - Communicate effectively with senior leadership and contribute to performance reviews, promotions, and compensation actions - Create standards for dataset usage through central repositories and cross-team collaboration **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or master's degree (MBA preferred) in a quantitative area - 10+ years of pharmaceutical commercial analytics or forecasting experience - Experience in operating successfully in a complex organizational environment - Hands-on expertise in pharmaceutical forecasting, portfolio and commercial analytics - Proficiency in modeling platforms, Advanced Excel & VBA, data manipulation software, and visualization tools - Expertise in datasets such as Visible Alpha, ProSight, Evaluate Pharma, etc.,
