Job Description

As a Manager Operational procurement & Logistics at Siemens, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of the factory's end-to-end supply chain management and logistics operations. Your extensive knowledge of SAP MM & PP modules will be put to the test as you lead digitalization activities within the team. You will be responsible for various key aspects including operational procurement, production planning, warehouse management, logistics planning, and inventory planning. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Manage operation procurement (Local/ Import), factory production planning, and warehouse management. - Align P2P processes with GBS and ensure their smooth functioning. - Prepare long-term & short-term production plans with capacity planning. - Analyze material planning to reduce inventory levels. - Monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations. - Track material shortages and provide immediate resolutions. - Coordinate and plan supplier deliveries, inventory status, and generate reports. - Plan customer orders and deliveries efficiently. - Ensure cost-efficient production processes and monitor manufacturing variances. - Handle import & custom processes, inbound logistics, revenue planning, and demand management. - Utilize knowledge of SAP WMS, MM, PP & SAP Fiori to maintain SAP Master Data effectively. **Skills Required:** - Proficiency in SAP WMS, MM, PP & SAP Fiori. - Strong background in Production Planning & Control, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Warehouse Management. - Experience in Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Order Handling, and Procurement/Purchase. - Knowledge of Factory Digitalization and utilization of Power BI for analysis. **Background:** - Ideal candidate holds a B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ E&C with 15-18 years of experience in Operational procurement and logistics. - Proven track record in digitalization activities and good communication skills are essential. - Experience with Power BI and Power apps will be an added advantage.
