Manager of Software Engineering - Java Full Stack

You have the opportunity to lead multiple teams to success at one of the world's leading financial institutions. As a Team Leader, your role involves providing guidance to your team of software engineers on their daily tasks and activities. You will set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Provide guidance to your immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities - Set overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration - Anticipate dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements - Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure the team's work complies with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements - Create a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for team members and prioritize diverse representation Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and a minimum of 5 years of applied experience, along with demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience - Experience leading technology projects - Hands-on experience in Core Full stack development on Java, Microservices, Cloud Native applications, Event Driven Architecture, Domain Driven Architecture, AWS, GKP, etc., with expertise in Mongo DB, No SQL, and Oracle databases - Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods - Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle - Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems - Practical cloud-native experience Additionally, if there are any preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills, practical implementation of AI/ML is mentioned as a preference.,
