As a Systems Programming Manager at our company, your role involves planning and organizing the development of technical support, software/systems programming, and operating system capabilities for the data processing facility. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the interfacing of software systems with hardware configuration and application system requirements. Your tasks will include developing and implementing system software and technical requirements like operating systems, compilers, and utility programs. It will be your duty to establish systems programming standards and program documentation requirements. You will also provide technical guidance on operating system problems, recommend system improvements, monitor design progress, and prepare design project reports.
