Job Description

Role & responsibilities Shall be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machineries and equipment/s. Experience of mechanical maintenance of Reactors, Centrifuges, Dryers, Pumps, Compressors etc. Will have to handle Gearboxes, Mechanical Seals etc. Responsibility will involve maintaining a safe work environment and training manpower (related to Mechanical Maintenance). Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment. Should have knowledge of handling work related to site fabrication, piping, erection and commissioning. Handling document as per statutory/ISO requirements. Ensure Housekeeping is up to mark near machineries and equipment/s. Should have knowledge of making Bill of Material with proper specification of the breakdown items, new equipment/s and site fabrication. Knowledge of working in ERP/ SAP would be preferable. Sound knowledge about Fire and Safety, Plant Engineering and maintenance. Knowledge of OHSAS guidelines. Providing technical support and training on new Machineries and Equipment/s. Working experience of mechanical maintenance of machineries and equipment/s of utility in Chemical industry like Boilers, Cooling Tower, Compressor etc. Preparation of daily Utility Reports. Preferred candidate profile At least 10 to 12 years of working experience in Chemical Industry in Mechanical Maintenance. B.E. Mechanical Engineering Ability to manage mechanical maintenance of Chemical Plant. Strong troubleshooting and Analytical Skills. Ability to handle Breakdown Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance in Chemical Plant. Perks and benefits As per Company Policy.
