As a Business Development Manager in the Health Insurance Agency Channel, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include recruiting, training, and managing a team of agents to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall expansion of our business. To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional leadership qualities, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry. Your key responsibilities will revolve around agency recruitment, where you will be tasked with identifying and onboarding talented individuals to strengthen our agency network. Developing effective recruitment strategies and expanding our network will be essential components of your role. Additionally, you will conduct comprehensive training programs for agents to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills, providing continuous coaching and support to drive performance. Setting and achieving sales targets for the agency team will be a critical aspect of your role, requiring the implementation of strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue and align with our business objectives. Building and nurturing strong relationships with agents will be pivotal to creating a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring agent satisfaction and retention. Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, as well as documenting all agency-related activities accurately, will be part of your responsibilities. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, have 1-2 years of experience in BFSI/sales/field sales, possess strong leadership and team management skills, and have knowledge in banking insurance sales.
