Manager of Information Security

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards to protect the organization's information assets.
• Lead and manage security compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 27001.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the implementation of security controls and monitor their effectiveness to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
• Manage incident response activities, including investigation, reporting, and remediation of security incidents.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior security staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of

  7 to 12 years

  of experience in information security, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards, including

  ISO 27001

  and

  CISM

  .
• Proven experience as a

  Lead Auditor

  for ISO 27001 or similar certifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Relevant certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
