Manager, Fabric Sourcing

As a Manager Fabric Sourcing at Best Denim, a leading supplier of high-quality denim fabrics, your role is crucial in executing seasonal and short-term sourcing plans tailored for exporters, brands, and buying houses. Your deep understanding of fabric sourcing will ensure alignment with financial goals, customer service standards, quality benchmarks, aesthetic preferences, safety regulations, and terms-of-engagement requirements. You will be responsible for executing seasonal and short-term sourcing plans focusing on denim fabrics, 100% cotton grey fabrics, yarn dyed fabrics, bottom-weight fabrics, 100% cotton GOTS fabrics, BCI fabrics, and 100% Tencel fabrics. Your role includes communicating capacity and price requirements to meet margin and delivery targets, providing alternative sourcing options, identifying opportunities to optimize sourcing strategies, overseeing product execution from sketch to delivery, and developing a high-performing vendor team. Key Responsibilities: - Execute seasonal and short-term sourcing plans for various fabric types, ensuring alignment with financial objectives, customer service standards, and quality benchmarks. - Communicate capacity and price requirements to meet margin and delivery targets. - Provide alternative sourcing options to meet commercial requirements at competitive costs. - Identify opportunities to optimize sourcing strategies. - Oversee product execution from sketch to delivery, including managing sample processes. - Develop, manage, and coach a high-performing vendor team. - Take accountability for "Go To Market" activities and analyze procurement costs. Qualifications & Experience: - 3-4 years of work experience in Sourcing and Product Development within the garment industry. - Familiarity with sourcing, vendor management, and textile categories. - Strong market understanding and business judgment. - Demonstrated negotiation skills and networking relationships with suppliers. - Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. - B-Tech in textiles or related field preferred.,
