Manager- Enterprise Data Management

As an integral part of M&G Global Services, you will be joining a dynamic team that is dedicated to maximizing the value of data and ensuring data risks are mitigated. Your role will involve collaborating with Data owners, data stewards, and business/technology teams to enhance data management activities. Here's what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** M&G Global Services, a subsidiary of M&G plc, is focused on revolutionizing data management to bolster data governance capabilities and improve regulatory compliance. Your primary responsibility will revolve around working closely with data stewards and business/technical subject matter experts to populate data catalogues, establish data quality rules, and support various data management initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with data stewards and business/technical SMEs to define business glossary definitions for data domains and projects - Identify Critical Data elements, assess data quality, and create data quality rules in alignment with strategic programmes and projects - Ensure quality assurance of content within the strategic data catalogue solution for the assigned business area or data domain - Aid Product Owner and data stewards in deriving relevant metrics for the adoption of Data catalogue and data quality - Develop and maintain user guides for data management tools, customize demos for different audiences, and act as the SME for relevant tooling and data management expertise within the corresponding business area **Qualifications Required:** The ideal candidate should possess: - 4+ years of practical experience in a data governance/management team at a significant organization - Profound understanding of data management capabilities including Metadata management, Data Privacy, Data Quality, Data Governance, and Data Strategy - Hands-on experience in creating business glossary definitions, capturing metadata, and assessing data quality - Familiarity with data management tools such as Informatica Axon/IDQ/EDC, Collibra, Datactics, Microsoft Purview - Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing datasets - Strong relationship management skills, effective time management, and organizational abilities - A passion for continuous learning and making a tangible impact - Experience in the financial services/insurance industry is desirable Join us at M&G Global Services, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to transformative data management initiatives and be part of a team dedicated to excellence and innovation.,
