Job Description

L&T Shipbuilding is Looking for Manager Electrical Design for it Design Competency Centre with Core Knowledge and Expertise in Both Basic and Detail design of Electrical systems pertaining to Ship Building. As well ideal candidate should possess the following Skill Set: Should possess good knowledge of Marine platforms, ship systems, various electrical equipment, their functions and signals. Should possess knowledge of various design standards applicable for marine electrical and electronic systems. Should have the ability to create/develop Electrical Engineering design for equipment/systems from specifications and standards. Should have the ability to create/develop Bill of Material for Electrical systems. Should have experience in review OEM supplied drawings and documents to verify meeting Build specifications and correctness. Should have the ability to utilize 3D CAD software and AutoCAD for creating system layout, cable routing and wiring diagrams to produce 3D models, engineering documents such as Production drawings, SLD, Cable schedules, wiring Diagrams and Termination connection Diagrams (TCD).
