Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of 5-6 Senior consultants and analysts in executing and delivering engagements, collaborating with industry professionals to develop risk management strategies. - Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring accountability within the team. - Utilize deep technical expertise in financial products, especially in lending solutions, to design, assess, and benchmark financial risk management policies and methodologies. - Stay informed about market trends and challenges in the financial services sector to address client needs effectively. - Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. - Review, analyze, and validate work completed by junior team members to maintain accuracy and quality. - Adapt to projects involving model audits, validation, and development, showcasing flexibility and domain knowledge. Qualifications Required: Must-have: - Graduate or Masters degree in a technical or quantitative discipline with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in statistics and econometrics. - In-depth knowledge of credit risk model development, validation, and implementation in banking book portfolios. - Proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, R, and Excel, alongside strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Preferred: - Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, PRM, or SCR. - Knowledge of regulatory modeling (BASEL, CCAR, IFRS9) and exposure to climatic risk space. - Familiarity with machine learning models, business intelligence reporting, and interest rate risk in banking book (IRRBB). - Experience in project management and willingness to travel for client engagements.
