Manager - Data Mining

As a Manager - Data Mining at our company, your role will involve providing a clear strategy for the Data Mining Lab. You will need to understand business and customer needs, as well as industry trends, in order to simplify strategy into specific actions, make decisions, and communicate priorities effectively. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving program and project execution, ensuring solution transition to the Business, and contributing technically to program/projects. It will be essential to meet committed schedules, deliverables, and budgets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Minimally Viable Products (MVP) to demonstrate continuous progress and relevance to the Business. - Communicate the value proposition and influence at Senior Levels. - Demonstrate impact and leadership capability to key stakeholders to secure funding for the Lab. - Recruit top talent, mentor and coach team members, and lead the team towards high-value outputs. - Develop networks in the businesses, with external commercial customers, and with Academia and External Research Partners. - Represent the company in well-known forums such as Conferences, Seminars, and Workshops. Qualifications Required: - Preferred PhD or Masters degree in Computer Sciences with expertise in areas such as Machine Learning, Search, Pattern Recognition, Text mining, Unstructured Data Management and Mining, and Big Data. - Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience. - Expertise in one of the Analytics areas. - Willingness to travel in India and Overseas.
