Job Description

Role Overview: As a Manager, Cryptographer at the company, you will be part of a small team dedicated to ensuring the cryptography and security of Mastercard chip card applications, as well as providing support for related technologies such as mobile and cloud. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and security of the systems, making a significant impact on the community and the world. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with a small team to oversee the cryptography and security of Mastercard chip card applications - Support related technologies including mobile and cloud - Conduct research level cryptography tasks involving RSA, ECC, and PQC - Utilize strong understanding of random number generation, probability theory, quantum physics, and quantum computing - Apply programming experience, especially in smart card or HSM cryptography, to ensure implementation quality engineering processes - Collaborate with business stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and presentation skills - Engage with cross-functional teams and external partners globally, showcasing strong interpersonal skills - Embrace challenges and thrive in a fast-paced industry, prepared for international travel when necessary Qualifications Required: - Hold a university degree in Mathematics or Computer Science, ideally with an MSc or PhD - Proficient in research level cryptography including RSA, ECC, and PQC - Possess knowledge of random number generation, probability theory, quantum physics, and quantum computing - Experience in programming, particularly in smart card or HSM cryptography - Familiarity with network infrastructure and technology is advantageous - Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong presentation and argumentation skills,
