Manager - Closure Design (Doors/Bonnet/Tailgate - BIW)

As a Manager Vehicle Rolling Chassis at the Listed Automotive Company in Pune, your role will involve: **Role Overview:** - Design and develop Closure Parts such as Side Doors, Bonnet, Tailgate, Hinges, and Latch. - Prepare concepts with Master section, Parts modeling, and detailing. - Coordinate with other design teams for mounting scheme of aggregate parts. - Apply GD&T principles and applications in the design process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Experience in designing Closure parts like Mechanisms, Hinges, Handles, locks, etc., and understanding their functions. - Proficiency in designing & Master section skills. - Hands-on experience in CAD modeling using software like Catia, Pro-E, or UG (Unigraphics preferred). - Familiarity with Teamcenter Engineering or PLM system. - Knowledge of GD&T principles, Plastic Product Design, and DVP & DFMEA of BIW/Closure parts. - Understanding of basic BIW will be an added advantage. **Qualifications Required:** - B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Specific expertise in BIW/Closure design. - Proficiency in Sheet Metal Design & Development.
