Manager/ Asst. manager Herbal extraction

In this role, you will be responsible for: - Strong capabilities of literature search, understanding, and selecting the most appropriate and scalable process for phyto-actives. - Executing lab experiments to convert herbal extracts into enriched cosmeceutical/nutraceutical actives. - Creating and overseeing the extraction strategy, including sourcing equipment and materials. - Mentoring and training the Extraction team on standard processes and operating procedures. - Conducting scale-up studies. - Standardizing extracts with HPLC, HPTLC, and other methods. - Conducting analytical and stability studies to strengthen the product portfolio. - Developing cost-effective extracts according to market and customer demand. - Having knowledge of herbal extracts specifications, including limits of residual solvents, microbial content, pesticides, etc. - Building Natural Anti-oxidant based application products against TBHQ, BHA, BHT for food applications. - Coordinating with external agencies for trials in cosmetics formulations for cosmetics applications. - Coordinating for Animal study, Human Study, Clinical Trials for specific indications with external agencies for Nutraceuticals. - Coordinating with the Research team of the Animal feed industry for product development related to Animal Feed. - Working on Grapes Anthocyanin & Resveratrol. - Exploring potential value from other Bio-Waste sources like Tomato, Mango, Citrus, Sweet Corn, Algae, etc. Key Competencies: - Herbal extractions & enrichments to active ingredients at lab & pilot plant scale. - Phytochemical characterization of extracts. - Qualitative and quantitative standardization (HPLC, HPTLC, titration, gravimetric, etc.). - Hands-on extraction experience.,
