Role Overview: As a Manager, Analytics - H&W Platform at Synchrony, your role will involve supporting and growing the Health & Wellness platform business by providing strategic and scalable solutions. You will collaborate with functional teams on key business priorities, deliver high-impact projects, and work closely with the India Analytics Hub (IAH) and US Analytics teams. It is essential for you to be a thought leader, a hands-on problem solver, and deliver actionable insights for the business. Key Responsibilities: - Support Health & Wellness platform business and analytics stakeholders in making informed decisions through data, analytics, and insights. - Proactively discover, lead, and solve open-ended/ambiguous business problems using basic to advanced analytics/data science tools and techniques. - Work hands-on to derive insights from data, automate critical processes using analytical techniques, tools, and software, and provide actionable recommendations for effective decision-making. - Ensure timely delivery, accuracy, and documentation in line with audit procedures. - Contribute to internal initiatives, perform other duties, and special projects as assigned. Qualification Required: - Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 2+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience. In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience. - Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SQL/SAS programming experience with the ability to leverage algorithms like Decision Tree, Regression, and handle complex/large data efficiently. - Experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting tools such as Tableau/Power BI. - Experience in campaign performance measurement, customer targeting framework, synergy of multiple functions, and creating/connecting KPIs. - Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and in presentation form) to lead analytics with senior stakeholders. - Experience in the credit card or financial services industry. Grade/Level: 09 Work Timings: 2PM - 11PM IST This role requires availability between 06:00 AM Eastern Time and 11:30 AM Eastern Time for meetings with India and US teams, with the remaining hours being flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
