Manager Advanced Insights & Analytics

As a Manager - Advanced Insights & Analytics at Synchrony, you will play a crucial role in supporting Collections, Recovery, and Servicing solutions by designing and developing business intelligence products using Tableau. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze Collections & Recovery performance, Customer Service, Customer Solutions, and Fraud using SQL/SAS and Python to enable leaders to make informed decisions. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role: - **Champion Customers**: Develop data solutions to derive key business insights from customer behavior, customer experience, and associate metrics. - **Relate and Inspire**: Collaborate with process owners across different teams in Servicing on analytical projects to promote efficient strategies. - **Elevate Every Day**: Execute projects under aggressive deadlines with limited guidance and direction from management. - **Act as Owners**: Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing findings and recommendations; support loss/cost estimations and provide thought leadership. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in STEM related fields with 2-5 years of analytics experience or equivalent years of experience in the field. Additionally, you should have expertise in BI applications, data management, analytical tools (such as SAS, Python), SQL/SAS, and Microsoft Office. Desired characteristics for this role include being influential in delivering advanced analytics solutions, proposing alternative data options, and working collaboratively with excellent communication skills. Experience in Data Science, working with large volumes of data from multiple sources, and knowledge of the Financial Services Industry are also advantageous. This role offers Enhanced Flexibility and Choice, requiring availability between 06:00 AM Eastern Time and 11:30 AM Eastern Time for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours are flexible, with exceptions possible due to business needs.
