The role of Manager - Advanced Insights & Analytics (L09) at Synchrony involves working within Collections & Recovery Analytics team to support Collections, Recovery, and Servicing solutions. The main focus is on enhancing the performance of these solutions by developing BI products using Tableau and conducting detailed analysis using SQL/SAS and Python. The key objective is to provide insights to the Operations Leaders so that they can make better and impactful decisions. The successful candidate for this role should possess qualities such as being intellectually curious, proactive, collaborative, driven, and communicative. The responsibilities of this role include identifying and analyzing drivers of Servicing performance, leveraging advanced analytical techniques to improve agent experience or business outcomes, using time series techniques to predict future outcomes, and conducting A/B tests and what-if scenarios. The individual will be required to work remotely with the option to work from home, with occasional in-person engagements such as team meetings, training, and culture events at the nearest office. Full vaccination is required for in-person activities to ensure the safety of all colleagues and communities. Key responsibilities of the Manager - Advanced Insights & Analytics include developing data solutions to derive insights from customer behavior, customer experience, and associate metrics to drive business actions. The individual will collaborate with process owners across different teams in Servicing on analytical projects, execute projects under tight deadlines, prepare and deliver presentations summarizing findings and recommendations, and support loss/cost estimations. The qualifications and requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in STEM related fields with 2-5 years of experience in analytics or 4-7 years of experience in the absence of a degree. Proficiency in BI applications, tools for managing data, analytical tools (such as SAS, Python, R, etc.), SQL/SAS, and Microsoft Office is required. Desired characteristics include the ability to deliver advanced analytics solutions, propose efficient data options, work with large volumes of data, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. The working timings for this role are between 06:00 AM Eastern Time and 11:30 AM Eastern Time, with flexibility for the remaining hours to be chosen by the employee.
