Job Description

As a Management Accountant at SEG Automotive India Pvt., Ltd., reporting to the Head Controlling and Financing, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely financial insights to drive operational efficiency, cost control, and strategic decision-making within the manufacturing plant. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the annual budgeting process for the plant, encompassing cost center budgets, production volumes, and capital expenditures. - Prepare rolling forecasts and scenario analyses to facilitate dynamic business planning. - Analyze and report on budget vs. actual performance, pinpointing key variance drivers and recommending corrective actions. - Support long-range financial planning aligned with corporate strategy and operational objectives. - Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including plant-level P&L, cost center reports, and operational KPIs. - Develop and maintain financial dashboards utilizing tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. - Conduct profitability analysis by product line, customer segment, and production batch. - Aid in month-end and year-end closing activities, encompassing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. - Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to corporate finance and external stakeholders. - Provide finance business partnering to plant leadership, offering insights and recommendations to enhance cost efficiency and profitability. - Engage in cross-functional reviews to assess production performance, quality metrics, and supply chain effectiveness. - Offer financial support for make-or-buy decisions, supplier negotiations, and pricing strategies. - Collaborate with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma teams to quantify the financial impact of continuous improvement initiatives. - Develop, maintain, and enhance standard costing systems for all manufactured products. - Perform cost roll-ups, analyze Bill of Materials (BOM), and validate routing data to ensure accurate product costing. - Conduct variance analysis (standard vs. actual) for material usage, labor efficiency, and overhead absorption. - Monitor and report on scrap rates, rework costs, and production inefficiencies. **Qualifications Required:** - CA, CMA, or CPA qualification - 10-12 years of relevant experience In addition, you will ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP). You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and supporting internal and external audits, including statutory, tax, and SOX (if applicable).,
