Managed Services Information Security Analyst(L1)

As a Security Analyst at our Mumbai office, your role involves monitoring security events from various entry channels such as SIEM, Tickets, Email, and Phone. Based on severity, you will escalate incidents to support teams and specialists for further investigation and resolution. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure the security of corporate data and technology components. Effective communication with customers, teammates, and management is crucial. You will also need to adhere to ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management. Documenting and maintaining customer build documents, security procedures, and processes are part of your responsibilities. Staying updated on emerging security threats and regulatory requirements is essential. Additionally, you may be assigned other duties by the security management team. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor security events and escalate incidents appropriately - Collaborate with the team to safeguard corporate data and technology - Communicate effectively with stakeholders - Follow ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management - Document and maintain security-related documents - Stay updated on emerging security threats and regulatory requirements - Perform other duties as assigned by the security management team Qualifications: - Preferred professional designations such as CISSP, CISM, CISA - 1-3 years of Security Operations Centre Experience - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills - Strong written and presentation skills - Knowledge of multiple operating systems, system administration, and IT principles - Understanding of security incident management, malware management, and vulnerability management processes - Experience with SIEM tools and intrusion detection technologies - Familiarity with web content filtering technology and networking principles - Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering - Excellent English written and verbal skills - Willingness for shift work and after-hours availability,
