Job Description

As a Collaboration Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency of clients" IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibility is to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems, guaranteeing the restoration of service to clients and adherence to service level agreements. Your duties will include: - Monitoring the public cloud, NTT, and client infrastructure and solutions - Identifying problems and errors before or when they occur - Investigating first-line incidents, determining root causes, and resolving them - Providing telephonic or chat support to clients as needed - Executing approved maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes - Reporting and escalating incidents when necessary - Continuously seeking opportunities for work optimization and process improvement - Updating knowledge articles and creating new ones as needed In addition to your key responsibilities, you are expected to possess the following knowledge and attributes: - Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse cultures and social groups - Strong planning abilities, considering potential changes in circumstances - Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure - Willingness to work hard and adapt to changing environments - Active listening skills and customer-centric approach Academically, you should hold a Diploma, bachelor's degree, or relevant qualification in Information Technology/Computing, or have equivalent work experience. Additionally, certifications such as CCNA, M365 Beginner Certifications, and other relevant certifications will be advantageous for your role. The ideal candidate for this position should have entry-level experience or have completed a relevant intern programme. Experience in troubleshooting and providing support in network, voice, collaboration, or Contact Centre administration within a medium to large ICT organization is preferred. A working knowledge of voice, video, and other collaboration modalities will also be beneficial.
