As a Collaboration Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your role involves providing a managed service to clients to ensure the continuous operation of their IT infrastructure and systems. Your primary objective is to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems, ensuring that service is restored to clients by managing incidents to resolution. You will be focusing on first-line support, resolution, monitoring, and event management for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the public cloud, NTT, and client infrastructure and solutions, identifying problems and errors, investigating incidents to identify root causes, fulfilling approved requests, providing telephonic or chat support to clients, executing maintenance activities, and following handover procedures for shift changes. Additionally, you will report and escalate incidents as necessary, ensure efficient resolutions, update knowledge articles, identify opportunities for work optimization, and perform any other related tasks as required. To excel in this role, you should have the ability to communicate and work across different cultures, plan activities well in advance, maintain a positive outlook, work effectively under pressure, apply active listening techniques, adapt to changing circumstances, and prioritize client satisfaction. Your academic qualifications should include a diploma, bachelor's degree, or relevant qualification in Information Technology/Computing, along with certifications such as CCNA, M365 Beginner Certifications, and other relevant certifications related to the services provided. The ideal candidate for this position should have entry-level experience or completion of a relevant internship program, familiarity with troubleshooting and support in network/voice/collaboration/Contact Centre administration and monitoring services within a medium to large ICT organization, and a working knowledge of voice, video, and other collaboration modalities.
