Man Material hoist Operator for Real Estate firm

As a Man Material Hoist Operator in Pune, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently operate the hoist for transporting personnel and materials at different levels of a construction site. You must adhere to safety protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with site regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Operate the man and material hoist following manufacturer guidelines. - Control hoist movement for lifting workers, tools, and construction materials. - Adhere to weight capacity limits and prevent overloading. - Maintain smooth operation to avoid sudden jerks or accidents. Safety Compliance: - Ensure workers wear proper safety gear. - Conduct daily safety checks on the hoist. - Follow all site safety regulations and emergency procedures. - Report any malfunctions or hazards to the site supervisor promptly. Maintenance & Inspection: - Perform routine checks on hoist motor, brakes, cables, and controls. - Keep a maintenance and inspection log for safety audits. - Coordinate with maintenance teams for servicing and repairs. Communication & Coordination: - Maintain clear communication with ground staff, crane operators, and site engineers. - Use hand signals or radio communication for coordination. - Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials and workers. Qualifications & Experience: - 10th Pass or Equivalent (Preferred). - Valid Hoist Operator License/Certification (if required). - Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating man material hoists in construction. Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of hoist mechanics and controls. - Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency handling. - Good hand-eye coordination and reflexes. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements: - Physically fit to work in a construction site environment. - Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions. Work Conditions: - Outdoor construction sites with exposure to dust, noise, and weather. - Shift-based work, including extended hours during project deadlines.
