SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Permit to Work Cooridnator Working at Jamanagar, Gujarat, India Safety is of paramount importance to all Mammoet operations. As a Permit to Work Coordinator, you will play a mission-critical role in ensuring that all work activities are carried out under strict permit conditions, in full compliance with SHE-Q standards. You will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and controlling permit-to-work systems to protect the safety of our colleagues, contractors, and customers across all project sites. Your diligence and attention to detail will directly support Mammoet’s commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety and operational excellence. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Administer and oversee the Permit to Work system on site. Ensure permits are correctly filled, approved, and available before initiating any critical activity. Verify that all necessary risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and method statements are attached to the permit. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (operations, HSE, contractors) to ensure proper execution of tasks under permit conditions. Conduct site inspections to verify that all safety measures and controls are in place before and during the execution of work. Maintain records of all issued, active, and closed permits. Monitor and audit PTW compliance and provide timely feedback to the concerned teams. Ensure personnel involved in critical tasks (e.g., lifting, welding, electrical work) are authorized and trained. Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations as required. Continuously identify improvement areas in the PTW process and contribute to safety culture enhancement. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Expert level experience in SHE-Q regulations. Professional level experience in SHE-Q systems, HLT equipment and MS Office suite. Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety / Industrial Safety or related field. Minimum [3–5] years of experience in HSE/PTW coordination roles, especially in construction, oil & gas, or heavy industries. Knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, and safe work practices. Familiarity with ISO 45001 or similar HSE management systems is preferred. Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is an added advantage.
