Maker Mentor

As a Maker Mentor at Neerja Modi School in Jaipur, you will be part of an innovative program that pairs high school students with experienced professionals in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Your role will involve guiding and mentoring students through online sessions to explore their fields of interest and work towards project-based outcomes. These outcomes may include technical reports, innovation briefs, and engineering projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) model. Your responsibilities will include supervising students in designing and developing engineering innovations, providing structured feedback and technical guidance, and fostering a creative learning environment focused on innovation and discovery. You will need to have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, along with proven experience in innovation and project-making. Additionally, you should have a strong interest in mentoring high school students, the ability to simplify technical concepts for younger learners, and access to an internet connection for live Zoom sessions. The mentorship sessions will be approximately an hour long, with a compensation of INR 1800 per session. Each project will consist of 25 to 30 sessions conducted twice a week.
