Maintenance Technician (Multi-Skilled) Electrician-Estates

As a Maintenance Multi Skilled Electrical Technician at Gartnavel General Hospital Estates Department, your role will involve maintaining a wide range of building services plant and equipment. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, ensuring safe and efficient systems of work for all building services. Your duties will include: - Providing electrical services to meet the needs of NHS GG&C Health Board - Examining and inspecting faults in plant and machinery, recommending repairs - Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and completing all necessary documentation - Working in compliance with NHS GG&C Health and Safety and SHTM Policies and Procedures - Undertaking minor alterations and modifications to existing services - Organizing and managing your workload and priorities effectively Qualifications required for this role include: - Recognized and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent) craft Apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification - Competent tradesperson with extensive relevant experience in building maintenance, preferably within the healthcare sector - HNC or equivalent qualification in a core subject with additional qualifications as required NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is committed to providing outstanding care for patients, and as a successful candidate, you will be expected to share this commitment and demonstrate the organization's values in your role.
