Job Title: Maintenance Head Location: Greater Noida Reporting To: Plant Head Experience Required: Retired Officer from Indian Armed Forces (Army / Navy / Air Force) with relevant Technical/Mechanical/Electrical background Age Preference: 5065 years Employment Type: Full-Time / Contractual (as per mutual agreement) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly disciplined and technically proficient individual, preferably a retired Armed Forces Officer, to lead our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will bring military-grade precision, leadership, and systems thinking to oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery, utilities, buildings, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the maintenance department for plant equipment, utilities (HVAC, DG sets, compressors, etc.), and building infrastructure. Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure 100% uptime of critical systems. Create and maintain SOPs and maintenance schedules aligned with best industry practices and discipline. Drive safety, cleanliness, and compliance (fire safety, ISO, audits) across the plant and maintenance operations. Train and mentor junior technicians, engineers, and support staff in line with Armed Forces standards of discipline and accountability. Manage AMC contracts, inventory of spares, and coordination with OEMs and external service providers. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for recurring mechanical/electrical issues. Ensure adherence to energy efficiency, environmental compliance, and sustainable practices. Collaborate with production, admin, and safety teams for seamless operation and project planning. Maintain high levels of documentation, reporting, and audit readiness. Eligibility Criteria: Retired Commissioned Officer (Major/Lt. Col./Colonel or equivalent ranks) or JCO with a strong technical background in Engineering Corps, EME, Navy Engineering, or equivalent arms. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering is preferred. Strong leadership, discipline, and problem-solving ability. Proven track record of managing teams, systems, and technical operations. Familiarity with industrial plant maintenance, utilities, and safety practices is desirable.
