Maintenance Fitter

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Executive is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks within the property. The role requires strong technical expertise in plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical systems, ensuring that all facilities, guest areas, and equipment are maintained in excellent working condition as per hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, sanitary fittings, and pumps.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as repairing furniture, fixtures, doors, windows, and wooden structures.
• Conduct electrical maintenance, including repair and replacement of lighting, switches, wiring, appliances, and other minor electrical works.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain records of maintenance work performed and report recurring issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure all maintenance tools, equipment, and materials are properly handled, stored, and accounted for.
• Adhere to safety standards, fire safety procedures, and energy-saving practices.
• Assist in major repair and renovation projects when required.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repair works.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/ITI certification in Plumbing / Electrical / Carpentry or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, basic electrical circuits, and carpentry techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency calls.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights during work.
• Comfortable working in varying conditions (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces, at heights if required).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
