Role Summary

Maintenance Executive (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out

  preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM)

  of plant mechanical equipment as per schedule
• Attend to

  mechanical breakdowns

  , troubleshoot issues, and restore operations in minimum time
• Maintain equipment such as

  pumps, gearboxes, motors, valves, compressors, heat exchangers

  , etc.
• Ensure

  compliance with safety standards

  , including

  LOTO (Lockout/Tagout)

  and permit-to-work systems
• Monitor equipment health using

  condition monitoring techniques

  (vibration, temperature, etc.)
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, spares usage, and equipment downtime
• Support installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems or equipment
• Coordinate with the store team for spare part planning and inventory tracking
• Assist in developing standard maintenance procedures and checklists
• Participate in audits, safety drills, and training sessions

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong

  troubleshooting and diagnostic

  skills in mechanical systems
• Practical knowledge of

  condition monitoring

  and

  root cause analysis (RCA)

• Familiarity with safety standards,

  OHS guidelines

  , and equipment tagging
• Ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts if required
• Experience in using

  CMMS

  or manual maintenance records
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, maintenance reports, email communication)
