Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:

  Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of injection moulding machines, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.

• Troubleshooting & Repairs:

  Diagnose and repair faults in injection moulding machines and associated equipment promptly to minimize downtime.

• Machine Setup & Calibration:

  Assist in setting up and calibrating machines for new production runs, ensuring they meet quality and efficiency standards.

• Spare Parts Management:

  Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for timely repairs and maintenance activities.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and repair histories.

• Safety & Compliance:

  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance machine performance and reduce downtime.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 4 years in maintenance engineering, with specific expertise in injection moulding processes.

• Technical Skills:

  Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery.

• Software Proficiency:

  Experience with maintenance management software is a plus.

• Analytical Skills:

  Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Communication Skills:

  Effective verbal and written communication skills.
