Hiring for Mianframe Testing Work collaboratively with client business IT team and SI to develop a suitable test strategy and plans for the project Lead and manage a team of test analysts process owners and subject matter experts motivating engaging and instilling a learning culture on the job Developing a deep understanding of the end to end solution Definition of testing requirements for the project based on solution Delivering testing for the project in line to test strategy Lead and manage the project using various project methodologies such as Agile Waterfall and other hybrid methods alongside helping with the budgeting of testing projects where appropriate Assess testing risks and estimate plan and prioritize tasks accordingly Management of stakeholders Reporting of progress on testing activities Responsible for managing and maintaining Mainframe systems from reliable operations Manages IT projects and teams ensuring Mainframe systems are considered within the IT strategy Should have exposure on these Mainframe technical skills o COBOLPLI o Vsam DB2 o Cics o JCL Management and delivery of test preparation activities o Test scope per test phase o Test script development o Test data sourcing Management and delivery of testing o Test execution o Defect Management o Test reporting
