Mainframe Systems Programmer Automation

As an experienced professional in the mainframe domain, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience and possess the following qualifications: - Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Python. - Experience working with Mainframe z/OS operating system, including system automation and operational processes. - Expert-level knowledge of mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and IMS. - Understanding of enterprise schedulers and batch processing systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: - Interpreting business requirements and converting them into effective technical solutions. - Developing and presenting proofs-of-concept (POCs) to demonstrate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions. - Overseeing the testing, deployment, and monitoring of automated solutions. - Providing support during deployment and hyper care phases to ensure smooth implementation of projects. - Offering technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. - Establishing best practices for developers. - Collaborating with project managers and product owners to estimate effort and plan project timelines.,
