Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, and MQ. The role requires expertise in unit testing, system testing, and working with various mainframe tools.

Programming Languages:

COBOL, JCL, DB2 SQL, IMS DB/DC, CLIST/REXX, MQ

Databases:

DB2, IMS DB

Mainframe Tools:

Endevor, Abendaid, Xpediter, File-AID, OPC, ServiceNow, Rally, Confluence

Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of SDLC and hands on experience with end-to-end life cycle activities
Substantial experience working with agile Methodology & working in squads
Proficiency with hands on development, with key focus on mainframe application development
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Advanced skills mainframe languages such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 SQL, IMS (both DB and DC), CLIST/REXX, MQ
Knowledge of Key Mainframe tools such as JIRA, CONFLUENCE, Expeditor, Endevor, File-aid, OPC, SPUFI, FileAid-DB2, ICE TOOL, Abend-Aid, MQ
