Job Description

You are applying for the position of Mainframe Developer-Life Insurance domain at NTT DATA in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India. As a Mainframe Developer, your role will involve the following: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for mainframe-based applications development and support, utilizing your expertise in COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, VSAM, VSE/DOS, and Assembler. Your experience in zOS development and VSE tools such as SyncSort, IDCAMS, CECI, CEDF, FTP, or other third-party toolsets will be essential for this role. Additionally, your familiarity with Client/Server technology, working with .TXT, .XLS files, and SQL will be beneficial. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and support mainframe-based applications - Utilize COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, VSAM, VSE/DOS, and Assembler - Demonstrate expertise in zOS development - Work with VSE tools such as SyncSort, IDCAMS, CECI, CEDF, FTP, or other third-party toolsets - Knowledge of Client/Server technology, .TXT, .XLS files, and SQL **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years" experience in mainframe-based applications development and support - Strong proficiency in COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, VSAM, VSE/DOS, and Assembler - Experience with zOS development - Familiarity with VSE tools such as SyncSort, IDCAMS, CECI, CEDF, FTP, or other third-party toolsets - Working knowledge of Client/Server technology, .TXT, .XLS files, and SQL - Understanding of systems development life cycle and structured methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) - Desirable: Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in life, health, and annuity Please note that NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
