Mainframe Developer

As a Mainframe Developer at Claidroid Technologies, you will play a crucial role in powering digital excellence by delivering resilient, secure, and scalable IT solutions to global clients. Your primary focus will be on translating functional requirements into robust, efficient mainframe code using COBOL/PL1/NATURAL, as well as developing and maintaining both batch and online components using JCL, DB2, and ADABAS. Your responsibilities will also include supporting full-cycle development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with Allianz's CMMI Level 5 quality processes. Key Responsibilities: - Translate functional requirements into robust mainframe code using COBOL/PL1/NATURAL. - Develop and maintain batch and online components using JCL, DB2, and ADABAS. - Support full-cycle development from requirements analysis to production deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for coordinated project delivery. - Follow Allianz's CMMI Level 5 quality processes and maintain regulatory compliance. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in Mainframe development using COBOL/PL1/NATURAL, JCL, DB2/ADABAS. - Hands-on exposure to batch and online processing, debugging, file transfers, and testing frameworks. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and configuration management tools. - Strong experience across the full project development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Desirable: experience in Adabas/Natural and working in the insurance domain. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
